Friendship With God - A Look at the Life of Enoch

Near the beginning of biblical history, we find a man known for friendship with God. We do not know much about the life of Enoch, but we do know that “after he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked faithfully with God 300 years and had other sons and daughters” (Gen. 5:22). I have a tendency to allow my phone to be a source of distraction. One morning I was sitting up in my bed checking every possible social media app. I read comments, made comments and liked multiple things, then it was on to reading all the latest news updates.

Ever since I was a little girl I  have wanted to see God's face. As a child, I loved going in my back yard, sitting on an old tree stump, and looking up into the sky. 'God I want to see your face. What do You look like?', I would ask. I knew He was 'out there' yet I also knew He was ever so close.
